About the event
Join us for a meaningful Service & Learning Day with Exodus World Service. Together, we’ll discover practical ways to welcome and befriend our refugee neighbors through learning, hands-on service, and relationship-building.
We’ll begin with prayer and an engaging, age-appropriate learning experience designed to help participants better understand the refugee journey. Afterward, teams will choose one of two opportunities:
Assemble and deliver Household Care Packs and spend time with a refugee family in Rogers Park.
Help clean and organize spaces at Heidi’s House Community Center.
If you’re able, we ask each individual, family, or group to bring a portion of the requested household items. Select the items you can contribute when registering. If you’re unable to bring supplies, we would still love for you to join us—simply choose the “Can Attend as Individual/Group (Without Packs)” option.
