More Than a Trip.
Lasting Impact.
This summer, 59 volunteers from The Bridge traveled to Honduras across three teams—student, medical, and education—to serve alongside Just One International. Each team went ready to serve, share the love of Jesus, build relationships, and come alongside the work God is already doing.
One theme surfaced again and again in the feedback from those who served: God is already at work. Just One is not only creating opportunities through education and practical support; they are intentionally grounding students in their faith. Teams went ready to encourage and disciple—and found themselves encouraged by students who know Jesus, are growing in their faith, and are carrying that faith into their families and communities.
Serving alongside Just One is more than going to Honduras to help. It is an opportunity to walk alongside one another as disciples of Jesus—each bringing different gifts and seeing how God can use them for something greater.
44 Men.
One Open Door.
Just One’s first Men’s Night brought 44 men together for grilling, playing bags, conversation, and a powerful testimony from Francisco Ramos from our Portage Park campus. Led by Pastor Paul Hardt, the evening created something simple but meaningful: a space for men to connect, hear the Gospel, and talk about faith. The response was so encouraging that men were already asking when they could gather again.
BUILDING FOR WHAT'S AHEAD
Just One’s new medical and dental clinic is on track to open in mid-September, expanding care for local families. Fundraising is still underway to bring it across the finish line.

A New Season at
Kypseli Church
There’s much to celebrate as Kypseli Church begins a new season. Three, possibly four, young believers are preparing for baptism, while Bible College classes and discipleship ministries begin again. Progress also continues on the new church building.
PRAYER REQUEST
Pray for new believers, growing ministries, and continued provision for the season ahead.

Growing One Child at a Time
Pastor James is building Catalyst Bible Club, creating a place for children in Cotonou to hear God’s Word, share a meal, and be discipled right where they are. What began with about 25 children is already growing—50 different children participated during the first weekend of September alone.
Behind that growth is a bigger vision: to develop young leaders who can disciple the next generation, with the hope that these Bible Clubs will one day help give rise to new, Bible-teaching local churches.
PRAYER REQUEST
Pray for more trained leaders, additional space, Bibles and teaching materials, and for the children coming each week to continue growing in their faith.
Indigenous Ministries is preparing for new opportunities to equip local leaders and share the Gospel across the Middle East and India. Plans are underway for a new ministry center in Cairo to serve Sudanese refugees, along with a much-needed girls’ dormitory and office space at Grace Bible College in India to help train more national leaders.

PRAYER REQUEST
Pray for God’s provision for these projects and for more workers to be raised up to disciple and equip the next generation.
